The High of the Win and the Fear of “What’s Next?”

Good morning, fellow artists! Welcome to another exciting edition of my weekly Hollywood blog. Last week, I wrote that our script, “The Third Act”, was selected as one of only 20 global finalists for the prestigious Largo.ai pitch competition at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival Marché du Film. How thrilling! How exciting! What a milestone achievement and win! And then, a few days later, I had a quick and minor sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach. A feeling of, “Uh-oh.
